Drawing is therapeutic for me, making prints is somewhat of an addiction, but the ability for me to create is just as important as the air I breath.
Hi there and welcome to my portfolio!
My work consists of Drawings, Prints, and Graphics and more recently a combination of Printmaking and Graphic Design. I am also a writer and I’m beginning to incorporate my writing into my prints. So I will post those as they come.
I create work that speaks on social issues that others dismiss in hopes that they may go away. Sometimes I dig up old issues and make new thought provoking, emotion evoking, dark poetic art that sits just beneath the surface of old cracked squeaky wooden floorboards that we all try to avoid because we want to pass by unnoticed and we succeed until the damage grows worse and it collapses under our weight and we’re forced to confront the ugly truth about ourselves.
The context of this body of work created in the last 5 or 6 years has been socially oriented and I’m interested in seeing if and how my life’s experiences will influence future work. One thing I’m sure will remain is my passion for people and the wellbeing of others. I hope that reflects in my art.
